Uniform Policy
Davis Academy is a uniform school. School policy states that all students in grades K - 8 must be in a school uniform to attend class.
The uniform guidelines are as follows:
Red or white top
Navy blue bottoms (Dark blue jeans are allowed as long as there are no rips or holes)
Hoodies and zip up sweatshirts are permitted but must be red, white, or blue.
All clothing must be void of phrases, large pictures, etc…
On gym days students must wear a uniform, but are permitted to wear more comfortable clothing.
Students are to wear a school uniform on their birthday and field trips.
No outerwear (coats, jackets, earmuffs, gloves, headbands) should be worn during the school day.
The following are considered NOT appropriate for school:
Tank tops or halter tops
Belly shirt
Shorts or skirts that are too short or tight (even if worn with leggings)
High heels, slippers, or flip flops
Sagging pants
Ripped jeans, jeggings
Hats, do-rags, bandanas
Clothing with disrespectful or inappropriate messages or logos
Clothing or accessories that are sharp or dangerous to self and others
