Uniform Policy

Davis Academy is a uniform school. School policy states that all students in grades K - 8 must be in a school uniform to attend class.

The uniform guidelines are as follows:

  • Red or white top

  • Navy blue bottoms (Dark blue jeans are allowed as long as there are no rips or holes)

  • Hoodies and zip up sweatshirts are permitted but must be red, white, or blue.

  • All clothing must be void of phrases, large pictures, etc…

  • On gym days students must wear a uniform, but are permitted to wear more comfortable clothing.

  • Students are to wear a school uniform on their birthday and field trips.

  • No outerwear (coats, jackets, earmuffs, gloves, headbands) should be worn during the school day.

The following are considered NOT appropriate for school:

  • Tank tops or halter tops

  • Belly shirt

  • Shorts or skirts that are too short or tight (even if worn with leggings)

  • High heels, slippers, or flip flops

  • Sagging pants

  • Ripped jeans, jeggings

  • Hats, do-rags, bandanas

  • Clothing with disrespectful or inappropriate messages or logos

  • Clothing or accessories that are sharp or dangerous to self and others
